❔First of all, we invite you to identify the model of your Storyteller, by consulting this article of our FAQ.
👉 If you have the Lunii-3 model, go to this section of our FAQ.
👉 If you have a Lunii-1 or Lunii-2 model, please read on:
First of all, check that your Storyteller is sufficiently charged. You also need to be logged in to your Lunii account on the mobile app, and the Storyteller must be switched on.
The USB logo should be displayed continuously on the screen of your device when it is connected to your phone and switched on.
Your phone should also display a pop-up asking you to authorize Lunii to access your device, which must be accepted for your Storyteller to be detected.
If the USB logo is not displayed continuously
Check that your phone is OTG (On-The-Go) compatible, and that the feature is activated in the settings.
To find out whether your phone is compatible, you can :
- check the specifications on the original box or the manufacturer's website
- do a Google search for your phone model
- install an application to check (for example, OTG?).
If all is well, and the USB logo still doesn't appear continuously, try connecting your Storyteller using a different cable that allows data transfer.
If the USB logo is displayed continuously
Check that your Storyteller is recognized as a device by your phone. To do this, go to your phone's settings (for example, "My Files" on Samsung or "Files" on Pixel).
👉 If you own a Storyteller model Lunii-2, it must appear under the name "Clé USB STM" or "Lunii".
If the Storyteller doesn't appear, try connecting it with another data transfer cable.
🕵️♀️ If your Storyteller is still not detected, try connecting it to a computer if you can.
This will tell you whether the blockage is due to the cable used, your phone or the Storyteller itself.
