To begin with, we suggest you check if the problem comes from the headphones/earplugs you are using. To do this, connect your headphones/earplugs to another device such as your phone: if they work, the problem comes from the Storyteller; if they don't work, the issue comes from your headphones/earplugs.
You can also connect other headphones/earplugs to My Fabulous Storyteller to check the origin of the problem.
If you are using the Octave Headphones and your diagnosis leads you to believe that the problem is due to the latter, we invite you to try, if you can, to connect your Octave Headphones to the Fabulous Storyteller via another 3.5mm M/M jack cable:
- If the problem persists, the problem comes from the Octave Headphones.
- If the problem is fixed, the problem most likely comes from the jack cable.
Having done this, we invite you to contact us and specify the type of problem encountered by your device as well as the information collected by testing with various headphones/earplugs and on several devices. The more details you can provide to our team, the more likely we will be able to help you find the right solution as quickly as possible.
If the problem encountered by your device requires the replacement of a part such as the sound wheel on the right side of the Fabulous Storyteller, we could, if you agree, send you the relevant part so that you can carry out the home repair.
